Become a founding member!
The USGBC is one of the foremost sustainable building organizations in the United States with ties worldwide. It is the intent of the USGBC to promote, through its Chapters, seminars, literature and information, a greater understanding of sustainable design for environmentally responsible, profitable and healthy places to live and work. Council members work together to develop the industry standards, design practices, guidelines, policy positions and education tools.
As a founding member, you would be recognized on the Chapter’s letterhead and would receive recognition at Chapter meetings and events. Your company logo would also appear on our chapter website with a link to your home page for a period of five years. USGBC Chapters are the focal point for education, networking and information dissemination at the local level with support from the Council.
Your sponsorship helps us to conduct activities relating to our primary roles.
Education
Raise awareness of green building practices and principles and practices among the local design, construction and real estate community, as well as the general public.
Expand knowledge base of members co-sponsoring or assisting in providing seminars to facilitate becoming accredited as a LEED professional.
Networking
Provide regular opportunities for members to network with others.
Provide forums for exchange of ideas and information.
Collaboration
Partner with local building-related and environmental organizations for education and networking.
Be the local resource on green building projects.
Raise awareness and expand knowledge of latest sustainable practices through regular seminars and programs.
We request that founding members donate
$5,000 during our Chapter's founding stage (which
ends on May 31, 2008) and encourage your company to
become a sustaining member each subsequent year.
Your company would be recognized at all programs or
events given by the USGBC Heart of Florida Chapter.
Your company logo would appear on our letterhead and
banners, as well as flyers sent out to announce or
publicize programs or events. In addition, members
receive discounts on programs and courses.
Become a Sustaining Member!
We are also seeking yearly sponsors, also known as Sustaining Members. This level of support would also receive recognition on all correspondence related to chapter events or programs. The levels of sponsorship are:
Platinum $1,500
Gold $1,000
Silver $500
Please note that as either a founding member or sustaining member your company must be a member of the national USGBC organization.
